This page provides an overview of our data center infrastructure, physical security measures, network architecture, and cybersecurity practices.
2. Data Center Locations
Bobardt leverages strategically located data center facilities across the United States and select international regions to ensure low latency, high availability, and geographic redundancy.
| Region | Location | Tier Level |
|---|---|---|
| US – Central | Chicago, Illinois | Tier III+ |
| US – East | Ashburn, Virginia | Tier III+ |
| US – West | Phoenix, Arizona | Tier III+ |
| Europe | Frankfurt, Germany | Tier III+ |
Additional regions may be added based on customer demand and strategic expansion plans.
3. Physical Security
All data center facilities adhere to strict physical security standards:
- 24/7/365 On-Site Security Personnel: Trained security staff present at all times
- Biometric Access Controls: Multi-factor authentication including fingerprint, badge, and PIN
- CCTV Surveillance: Continuous video monitoring with 90+ day retention
- Mantrap Entry Systems: Dual-authentication entry points preventing tailgating
- Visitor Management: All visitors logged, escorted, and verified
- Perimeter Protection: Fencing, bollards, and vehicle barriers where applicable
4. Power & Redundancy
Our facilities are designed for maximum uptime with fully redundant power systems:
- N+1 Redundant Power: Multiple independent power feeds
- Uninterruptible Power Supply (UPS): Battery backup systems for seamless failover
- Diesel Generators: On-site backup generators with extended fuel contracts
- Automatic Transfer Switches (ATS): Instant switchover between power sources
- Power Distribution Units (PDU): Redundant A+B power to each rack
| Component | Redundancy Level |
|---|---|
| Utility Power Feeds | N+1 (Dual Feed) |
| UPS Systems | N+1 |
| Diesel Generators | N+1 |
| Cooling Systems | N+1 |
| Network Connectivity | Multi-homed, fully redundant |
5. Cooling & Environmental Controls
- Precision Cooling: Hot aisle / cold aisle containment systems
- Redundant HVAC: N+1 cooling units for continuous temperature control
- Environmental Monitoring: Real-time temperature and humidity sensors
- Water Detection: Under-floor leak detection systems
- Fire Suppression: Advanced gas-based fire suppression (FM-200 or equivalent) and VESDA early smoke detection
6. Network Architecture
Our network is engineered for performance, redundancy, and low latency:
- Multi-Homed Connectivity: Multiple Tier 1 transit providers and peering exchanges
- Redundant Core Routers: Fully redundant routing infrastructure with automatic failover
- DDoS Mitigation: Always-on DDoS protection with multi-terabit scrubbing capacity
- BGP Routing: Optimized BGP routing for lowest latency path selection
- 10G / 40G / 100G Uplinks: High-capacity backbone connectivity
| Network Metric | Target |
|---|---|
| Network Uptime | 99.99% |
| Average Latency (US) | < 10ms |
| DDoS Mitigation Capacity | Multi-Tbps |
| Packet Loss | < 0.1% |
7. Cybersecurity Measures
Bobardt implements comprehensive security controls to protect customer data and infrastructure:
A. Infrastructure Security
- Enterprise-grade firewalls and intrusion detection/prevention systems (IDS/IPS)
- Network segmentation and VLAN isolation
- Encrypted management interfaces (SSH, HTTPS, VPN)
- Regular vulnerability scanning and patch management
B. Data Protection
- Encryption at rest (AES-256) and in transit (TLS 1.2+)
- Secure key management practices
- Data isolation between customer environments
- Secure data destruction upon service termination
C. Access Controls
- Role-based access control (RBAC) for all administrative systems
- Multi-factor authentication (MFA) for all staff access
- Principle of least privilege enforced across all systems
- Comprehensive audit logging and access monitoring
D. Monitoring & Incident Response
- 24/7 infrastructure monitoring and alerting
- Security Information and Event Management (SIEM)
- Documented incident response procedures
- Regular security audits and penetration testing
8. Compliance & Certifications
Our data center partners and infrastructure comply with the following standards:
- SOC 2 Type II: Security, availability, and confidentiality controls
- ISO 27001: Information security management
- PCI DSS: Payment card industry data security standards
- HIPAA: Health information privacy (available for eligible customers)
- GDPR: EU data protection compliance
- CCPA / CPRA: California consumer privacy compliance
9. Disaster Recovery & Business Continuity
